On the occasion of the Berlin Gallery Weekend, pilote contemporary Berlin and Galerie Monica Ruppert Frankfurt Main present a curated selection of artistic positions from their diverse programs.Since its inception, the Gallery Monica Ruppert and the interdisciplinary artist collective pilote have dynamically engaged with exhibition spaces, forging collaborations with guest curators and fellow artists.Art, as a practice unbounded by resistance, has the remarkable ability to generate unforeseen perspectives and narratives when intersecting with various disciplines, realms of practice, and communities. In a world undergoing unprecedented transformation, there is a growing need for art that not only introspects but also extends its gaze outward. The exhibition „The Pool“ serves as a platform to explore an evolving art and exhibition praxis, one that embraces collaboration and dialogue.During this year’s Berlin Gallery Weekend, we continue to embody this spirit of collaboration by presenting current works in the fields of painting, photography, new media, drawing, plastic and sculpture at the temporary Culterim Gallery space in Berlin Gesundbrunnen.
